People keep asking us, where do we get the gorgeous cookies and cupcakes from we serve in our meetings. It’s very simple: our offices in Cologne are located in Creativity Wonderland Central – la chic belgique – the Belgian Quarter of Cologne. The Belgian Quarter and Ehren Strasse are reknown mostly for their accumulation of hip young fashion designers and brand flagship stores. But we also have our choice of innovative patisserie right around us and we love to get inspired by it.
Our favorite cookies, Petit Fours and macarones come from Madam Miammiam right across the street.
The owner Anne Schultes-Schmidt studied art before learning to be a patissier in London, and her creations are true works of art and always a lot of fun to look at and to eat.
But there are also the delicous little törtchen by TörtchenTörtchen, more inspired by a french style.
And fully on trend: Royal Cupcakes, whose creations take their inspiration from
fairytales 
like Sleeping Beauty and Frogking.
Pink and green frosting create contemporary fairytales on cupcakes: did you see the cupcakes dedicated to the Royal Wedding from a site in the UK?
They are so IN at the moment, that even H&M has a line in their homedecoration site dediated to them.
And they leave room for individual expression: at the Butch Bakery in NY, you can order manly cupcakes for manly men without pink decor, but manly flavors like „Beer Run: chocolate and beer-infused cake with a beer buttercream topped with crushed pretzels“.
